Course Description
Discover the possibilities of Generative AI, allowing secondary school students to build their own AI-powered applications through hands-on programming and prompt engineering.
Through RoboCode's GenAI Programming course, students learn to communicate effectively with AI models and use Python to integrate them directly into their own programs. They then progress to developing interactive web applications that combine web development with Generative AI capabilities.
At higher levels, students explore image and audio generation before combining text, images, audio, and other AI capabilities to develop multimodal applications and creative multimedia projects.
Through hands-on projects, students strengthen their programming, prompt engineering, creativity, and problem-solving skills. By applying their Python and web development knowledge to Generative AI, they gradually develop the ability to independently design and build their own AI-powered applications.

Explore the fundamentals of Generative AI through Python programming, learning to write effective prompts and use Large Language Models (LLMs) to build text-based applications.
- Learn prompt engineering techniques to give clear instructions, control generated responses, and produce useful text in different formats
- Develop skills in connecting Python programs to AI models through REST APIs using the Requests library, and use JSON to organize and process model responses
- Create command-line AI applications by applying prompt engineering and programming skills, including a Topic Summarization Tool that summarizes information based on user instructions
Level 2 - GenAI Web Applications
Explore the development of interactive web applications powered by Generative AI, learning to connect Large Language Models (LLMs) with websites and create more advanced AI-powered features.
- Learn to write advanced prompts that generate structured responses in formats such as JSON, HTML, and CSV for use in different web application features
- Develop skills in connecting AI models with interactive websites using Flask and Flask-SocketIO, allowing users, websites, and AI models to exchange information
- Create practical AI-powered web applications, including a Web Chatbot that responds to user messages, a Person-Guessing Game that interprets user clues, and a Grammar-Checking Tool that analyzes and improves written text
Level 3 - Image Generation
Explore image generation with Generative AI while learning to build interactive web applications that can create, understand, and transform images.
- Learn to write effective image prompts to generate specific visual content and guide AI models to describe and understand information from images
- Develop skills in text-to-image, image-to-text, and image-to-image generation using Gemini image models, while learning to use Base64 to process images in web applications

Level 4 - Audio Generation

Level 5 - Multimedia Projects

- Develop skills in planning and building larger AI-powered applications by connecting different features and applying programming and prompt engineering knowledge gained throughout the course

What if students need to take leave?
Parents should notify our staffs in advance. We will then arrange makeup class.
