Our Story

It all started with a desire to change the world

Our Story

As technology and artificial intelligence rapidly evolve, our lives are changing at an unprecedented pace. These transformations profoundly affect both the present and future of our world. Consequently, the demands on young people in modern society are drastically different from those of the past. They need to master a new set of skills, such as innovative mindset, critical thinking, problem solving abilities, and data analysis skills.

As an educator with many years of university teaching experience, Dr. Jackei deeply feels that there is still significant room for young people to grow in various aspects. He observed that many parents and educators continue to use traditional methods to nurture the next generation. With the constant advancement of technology, past experiences may no longer fully apply, and these methods may underestimate the challenges and changes of the future. At the same time, through interactions with young people, Dr. Jackei noticed their enthusiasm and curiosity for new technologies, yet the current education system fails to fully tap into this valuable potential.

This realization led Dr. Jackei to establish RoboCode Academy in 2017. He firmly believes that educating the next generation should be centered around artificial intelligence technology and digital innovation, creating a new education model that prepares them for the future.

The founding mission of RoboCode Academy is to create a learning platform for kids and teenagers that encourages active exploration, bold innovation, proactive experimentation, and deep thinking. Through hands-on practice with various programming projects, they build a solid foundation of skills and apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems, empowering them to excel in the future world. We believe that every young person has limitless potential, and with the right guidance and opportunities, they have the power to change the world.

When we look towards the future, what do we want our children to become?

Technology has changed tremendously since we started RoboCode Academy, and Generative AI is now changing the way we learn, work and create at an incredible pace. Children today can ask AI to write, draw, create videos and even generate computer programs within seconds. To me, this makes independent thinking, curiosity, sound judgment and problem-solving even more important as children grow up in an increasingly AI-powered world.

Over the years, I have seen that learning happens most meaningfully when children are given the opportunity to explore. They try something, encounter a problem, think about what happened, make changes and try again. This is one of the reasons I continue to believe strongly in coding education. Coding develops logical thinking, persistence and the ability to turn an idea into something they can actually create. With AI supporting the coding process, children can focus even more on understanding what they are building, making their own decisions and shaping their ideas along the way.

At RoboCode Academy, we want our students to grow into confident, thoughtful and creative young creators. We want them to stay curious, experiment with new ideas, develop their own ways of thinking and use coding, AI and technology to bring those ideas to life. The tools they use will continue to evolve, while their ability to think, create, adapt and keep learning will continue to grow with them throughout their journey.

Comprehensive Support for Students and Parents

At RoboCode, we place great importance on communication with parents. We encourage parents to reach out to us at any time to gain a deeper understanding of their child's learning progress and development. We are committed to providing comprehensive support for every student, whether they are in early childhood education or preparing for high school. We strive to tailor the most suitable courses and guidance for each student, helping them find their own path to the future.

Stage 1
Kindergarten Students

In our classes, we frequently encourage students to share their work. This not only enhances their language and communication skills but also boosts their confidence in facing future school interviews. The projects completed in class can also be used as material for interviews, increasing their chances of being admitted to their desired schools.

Stage 2
Junior Primary Students

Our curriculum is ahead of traditional schools, allowing students to gain a head start in mastering coding skills. These skills make them more competitive among their peers and provide them with more opportunities to showcase their abilities and participate in various coding and technology-related activities.

Stage 3
Senior Primary Students

Our advanced courses aim to further enhance students' coding abilities and technical skills. Many of our students are often selected to be part of their school's coding teams, where they participate in various competitions and achieve outstanding results. They stand out in these competitions, showcasing their exceptional talents and bringing honour to both their school and themselves.

Stage 4
Junior Secondary Students

During the subject selection phase, we help students explore their potential through coding projects, clarifying their interests and talents. We offer professional advice on subject choices, assisting them in selecting the subjects that are best suited to their abilities. Through our guidance, students gain a clearer understanding of themselves and can set clear goals for their future studies and career paths.

Stage 5
Senior Secondary Students

As they prepare for university, we assist students in choosing their preferred university subjects, particularly in the fields of technology and coding. We also help them build a strong personal portfolio, showcasing their coding projects and achievements, ensuring they are well-prepared for higher education and future careers in the technology industry.

Future Vision

Today's younger generation is at the forefront of a new technological era, facing countless unknown challenges and opportunities in the future. Only by cultivating the essential core skills with a broad vision and ambitious goals from an early age can they stand out and achieve extraordinary success in this ever-changing world. Dr. Jackei, the founder of RoboCode, has three key visions for the future of RoboCode, aimed at providing deeper and more forward-looking educational support to help children succeed in this rapidly evolving era.

Concrete Coding Skills

In the rapidly evolving world of technology, coding skills are becoming an essential foundation for the younger generation. We are committed to helping children build a solid foundation in coding from an early age, enabling them to use logical thinking to solve problems and master various programming languages. Get Familiarized with AI Tools

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a core technology that changes the world. We aim for our students to master AI tools (such as AI Generated Content, AIGC), understanding how to operate them and their application scenarios. Through our courses, they will learn how to use AI technology to solve real-world problems and develop a keen insight into future technological trends. This will provide them with a strong competitive advantage in their future studies and careers.

Be a Digital Content Creator

Beyond technical skills, we encourage students to unleash their creativity by applying what they’ve learned to digital content creation. Whether it's game design, multimedia production, or developing personal projects, we support students in creating work that holds unique value. Becoming a digital content creator allows them not only to achieve success in the tech field but also to express themselves creatively, laying a foundation for diverse future development.
